Afrox Bursary


Afrox is looking to offer bursaries to students studying within the engineering faculty. The Afrox bursary applicant must have good academic results and limited financial resources. The bursary recipient must have completed (and excelled) in their first year of study in one of the following fields:

  • Chemical Engineering bursaries
  • Industrial Engineering bursaries
  • Mechanical Engineering bursaries
  • Metallurgical Engineering bursaries
 

The bursary will cover: tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation in residence and food. The bursary is valid for one year only and renewal is subject to academic results and vacation work (during June/July and December/January holidays).
 

As a company that employs high calibre staff, we want to attract people who can contribute towards our drive to make Afrox a world-class company. Afrox, a Linde Group company, manages a bursary scheme. Bursary recruitment is in line with the company’s needs.
 

Afrox Bursary Application Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

South African citizen
Completed Matric
Studying full time in one of the aforementioned fields of study
