Power Group Bursary

The Power Group offers bursaries to students as a way to assist students work towards a qualification in the construction or building industry, without having to worry about the high cost of tertiary studies.

Power Group bursaries are awarded to students currently studying (or intending to study) at University or University of technology. Bursaries are awarded within the following fields of study:
University students:

Power Group Bursaries Available

Business Commerce
Civil Engineering
Construction Management
Project Management
Quantity Surveying
University of Technology students:

Building Science
Civil Engineering
Construction Management
Quantity Surveying


Who Can Apply?

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

South African citizen
Completed Matric OR currently in Matric
Studying or intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study
Studying or intend on studying at a recognised University or University of Technology in South Africa
Intend on pursuing a career within the Building/ Construction/ Built Environment sector

ID document (certified copy of)
Latest Matric results, if currently in Matric
Matric certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy of)
Latest tertiary academic record, if currently at University or University of Technology
